Build Growth Ready Infrastructure

Water is essential to our homes, businesses and future. The Region of Waterloo is facing future water-capacity challenges in the Mannheim Service Area, affecting Kitchener, Waterloo and parts of Cambridge, Woolwich and Wilmot.

Kitchener should not have to choose between housing growth and reliable infrastructure. We need to make sure water, wastewater, roads and transit capacity keep pace with the growth we approve. As Mayor, I will use my seat on Regional Council to advocate for timely infrastructure investment, transparent timelines and responsible growth.
