My commitment as Mayor will be to use the powers I actually have, bring issues forward, propose solutions, vote at Regional Council, build Council support, work with staff, and advocate directly with Queen's Park and Ottawa.

I will not promise residents that I can do something unilaterally when the law requires a Council decision or another level of government.

My promise is simple: I will be honest about what I can control, accountable for the decisions I make, and persistent in pursuing the outcomes Kitchener residents deserve.
