Safe Communities and Stronger Action Against Hate Crimes

Aug 20
1 min read

Elected representatives have a heightened responsibility to model respectful conduct, actively oppose hate and discrimination, protect the equal participation of residents and use their public office to strengthen, not undermine community safety and social cohesion.

Everyone deserves to live, work, worship, study and participate in their community without fear of being targeted because of who they are.

I am committed to preventing hate crimes, supporting victims and ensuring that incidents motivated by hatred are taken seriously.

Hate has no place in our communities. Everyone deserves safety, dignity, and equal protection under the law.
