A safer Kitchener starts with streets designed for people

As Kitchener population grows, traffic is increasing.

Every resident should be able to get home safely, whether they are walking, cycling, taking transit, or driving.

I will make make road safety a priority by focusing on safer streets, responsible speeds, better infrastructure, and practical enforcement.

1. Fix high-risk intersections and improve crossings.

2. Protect pedestrians, cyclists, and school zones.

3. Address dangerous speeding through better road design and enforcement.

4. Improve lighting, signs, and accessibility.

5. Track results and publicly report progress.

Road safety should be measured by results, not promises. I will strongly support regular public reporting on collisions, serious injuries, fatalities, speeding, and progress on safety improvements.
